Hello. My name is Ryan. I write this blog. That’s probably pretty obvious. I am a 32-year-old from Brenham, TX  in a relationship with the books on my book shelf.

I am the lead pastor of VillageHouston, a church that meets in the University Village neighborhood of Houston, and the chaplain of St. Stephen’s Episcopal School. I am a big fan of my family, friends, coffee, books, films, vinyl records, and all Houston sports teams.

I am endearingly awkward, and am most often found wearing a bow tie and Chuck Taylor’s.
